Snowmageddon 2018

IMG_1110.jpgLook how pretty! This first picture was taken through the window looking at my mom’s grapevine! The snow is still coming down!

It’s not supposed to taper off until around 11, I believe. I’m waiting on my nephew to get over here so I can get some pictures of him playing in it. 🙂

Can you tell I love the snow? LOL. Here in Virginia, we don’t get tons of snow very often… anytime we get a decent amount I get so very excited!

We haven’t measured to see exactly how much we’ve gotten so far because the winds are so bad that it’s causing drifts.

IMG_1108.jpgThere’s just something magical about the snow and the way it causes everything to look so peaceful. It’s so quiet right now.

So how is your day going?

Is it snowing where you live?

How do you feel about the snow?

Verse of the day:

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give you to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

John 14:27 (ESV)

  1. I grew up in the desert of Arizona and have also lived a few years in Indianapolis. I love the first snow fall of the year. Otherwise, I can live without it. We travel now and are staying near the area where Arizona, Nevada and California meet. No snow here, my wardrobe consist of shorts today! But we were in Virginia in July and totally loved the state. It was beautiful and we hope to return and be able to spend time there.

      1. After seeing a bear and her 2 Cubs, we stayed the night in Roanoke but spent the next afternoon in the small, small town of Gala on our way from Topsail beach, NC to Indianapolis. We truly enjoyed the people and the terrain.
