“I want it now!” “Gimmie, gimmie gimmie”
We live in a world where we have to have it OUR way in OUR time. We get so impatient when we don’t get what we want right away.
I found out yesterday that my disability hearing scheduled for today was cancelled due to the judge being unavailable and that it could be another 3-4 months before I get another hearing date. Talk about devastated! I have been waiting for this date for over a year! I wanted this so badly.
But God’s timing is not my timing. He has a reason for this.
And like any human being, I wish I knew what this reason was.
Because I’m struggling. Not just financially but mentally. Finding out I may have to wait another 3-4 months is killing me. I’ve already waited over a year for this date.
But no matter what, I know God hasn’t left me. He’s always going to be there for me. I just need to remember that.
God always keeps His promises.
He is faithful.
He is just.
Yes, ever since you’ve talked about it for prayer I’ve been thinking about you and praying. Lifting you up during this time my sister!!!! ❤

He’ll bring you through! I really feel it for you! But I know you’re gonna make it in Jesus Name! God is the same, yesterday, today and forevermore! Watch him move those mountains! You are in my prayers.

Thank you! Well, I just got a call from my lawyer. My hearing has been rescheduled for September 19th. I wish it were sooner but at least it’s been rescheduled.

Hi Leigh! I am praying for you and I am so sorry you have to wait longer for your hearing date. God goes before you and He knows exactly what you need, when you need it. God revealed His timing in such a way that changed my life forever.
My husband, seven years ago when I was 39 years old, worked hard for a full year to get a promotion in the company he works for. This promotion would bring a huge move from California to Georgia for our family of four. We would sell our house, buy a new one, find new schools for our daughters, etc. I found new schools a new place to live, getting the kids prepared to move….
Two months before this was to happen we found out the promotion needed to be given to someone else for the wife’s medical problems! He didn’t get the promotion after a year of extra work.
God gave me peace, and I said this to my husband, “I don’t believe I am to leave my doctors yet. There is a reason we will be here.”
My mother died of cancer at 39, when I was 18. This made me very thorough on all my check ups. I never missed one.
To make a long story short, because of my history, my doctor did extra testing and discovered bad test results that required several treatments. This happened three months after my husband was denied the promotion!!!
On the last visit with the doctor, once I had a clean bill of health, my doctors shared this with me, “Shanon, if I hadn’t done that extra testing, you may not have been here next year.” Oh and by the way, I was 39 when this happened. The same age my mother was when she died from cancer.
Immediately, God reminded me of that conversation with my husband!!! God KNOWS the whole picture. I don’t hesitate now when plans are changed because I know who holds all my days and KNOWS what is best for me.
Sorry for the long post. God knows your whole story and what is the absolute best for you!! God loves you more than anyone in this whole world. Psalm 139 is my absolute favorite and has got me through so much!
