I was listening to this song the other day and this line stuck out: “When You don’t know what to say, just say Jesus.”
I’ve been struggling with my focus lately and there are moments I just don’t know how to pray. I can’t get my mind to settle down long enough to open up to God. But this song says it perfectly: Just say Jesus. He knows our every thought, our every struggle. He knows what is on our mind! So when we struggle with prayer, when we don’t know what to say, just say Jesus. He already knows what we want to say.

Who is the performer or artist and what is the title? As I read the lyrics, I hoped that you would include a uTube clip. Powerful lyrics. Have you read my latest blog, Are You Slipping? In your most recent blogs, I have sensed in my spirit that something is wrong or you have suffered some sort of hurt. I don’t mean to be nosy I am just concerned for you, my sister. Our lives are filled with challenges as the Holy Spirit is working to make us more like Christ. If our Father in heaven were not teaching and chastising us, he would not be a loving father.
If you have not read “Are You Slipping,” it is a short read and deals directly with suffering. I will take you before the throne in prayer. Hold on to this scripture as a form of encouragement.”In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” Romans 8:26 Just think, how amazing is that that in our moments of greatest need, when we cannot even come up with one word the Holy Spirit steps up to the plate for us. In our suffering, the Holy Spirit speaks to the Father on our behalf. Praise the Lord! He is so good to us. Also, check out the song “Oh My Soul” by Casting Crowns.
