March is upon us and for all you college basketball fans, you know what that means!! March Madness!!! The Big Dance!!!

Selection Sunday is today!!! To learn more about the process and how teams are chosen click here. I mean, you don’t have to, especially if you have no interest in sports, lol. It’ll just help you have a better understanding of how the teams are picked. There is this huge process that takes A LOT of things into consideration in order to be selected and what seeding you get.

As you all know I am a HUGE North Carolina Tar Heel fan! I can’t wait to start filling out my bracket and watching the games! GO TAR HEELS!

If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, be prepared for a bunch of March Madness posts!!! I get so pumped for this time of year!

In other news, sorry for being absent once again. I have been busy with work and then last week I came down with the horrible flu bug and it kept me pretty much bed ridden for a week. The doctor prescribed me Tamiflu and it actually made me sicker! So even though it goes against the doctor’s orders, I stopped taking it. I am not 100% but I’m getting there. I go back to work tomorrow for the first time in a week.

I realize I’ve been neglecting my blog. I’ve missed corresponding with you all! I promise I will try to do better!

How is YOUR day going? Are you a March Madness fanatic like me?

  1. I grew up in a basketball playing family. I played point guard growing up. Both my Dad and Uncle played in high school and my Uncle ended up playing for DU (University of Denver). My Uncle lived in Denver for a long time and coached the inner city kids. He ended up having a kid named Chauncey Billups play for him and he coached him all through his youth. I used to shoot hoops with Chauncey when I was a kid. His nickname on My Uncle’s team was “Smooth.” My Uncle acted as his agent when he went pro. The Billups family are good friends and Chauncey and his family were at my Uncle’s funeral a few years ago. Chauncey even spoke and said some nice words about my Uncle. Since you are a North Carolina fan, I’m sure you know Michael Jordan played there in the 80s. I lived 35 miles west of Chicago during his time of championships with the Bulls (known as the running of the Bulls). By the way, I can still knock down 3s at the park. 🙂 P.S. You were right to stop using the Tamiflu. That stuff is awful and we don’t take that either. Praying for you to be healed. God bless!

Yeah I’m glad I stopped the Tamiflu. It made me feel even worse! I’m feeling soooo much better. I’m not 100% but I’m getting there.
