Guard Your Heart

Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it.

Proverbs 4:23

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Romans 12:2

“Open the eyes of my heart, Lord
Open the eyes of my heart
I want to see You
I want to see You”

” Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10)

Our hearts are vulnerable. It is so easy to fall prey to the different desires the world tries to instill in us. But we must be careful. Satan will try to use anything to deter us away from God. Satan is pretty sneaky at using ploys to drag us away.

In 1 Peter 5:8, it tells us to “be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

The world is full of distractions that Satan will try to use to his advantage. We must be on the look out and be fully alert as to not fall into Satan’s trap. Satan knows our weaknesses and will not hesitate to use them against us.

Stand firm in your faith.

Guard your hearts.
