
I made a decision today. A decision that has been a long time coming. I am going to do my level best to lose some weight. A lot of weight, to be honest. I want, no, I need to lose about 60lbs. I have gained so much weight over the past several years. Some of it is due to my medications. Two of them cause weight gain. But the majority of it? Yeah, that’s totally on me. But there is no need to constantly beat myself up over this. What’s done is done. Can’t change the past.
It’s going to be hard along the way, I know this. With all my chronic health problems, I’m going to have days where I feel I can’t do it, where I feel I can’t go on. But I won’t be on this journey alone. God is going to be with me every second, every step of the way.
So, with that said, could you all please say a prayer for me? Pray that I will remain motivated and stay disciplined throughout this journey.
I’m praying for you, Leigh! ❤ You can do this – the Lord is with you! 🥰 I’m also focusing on making healthy lifestyle changes and creating new habits to replace bad ones… it’s taking me time and a lot of effort, but I’m so excited about where these good decisions are taking me!

I’ll pray for you! With my disability that causes me to need a wheelchair and also chronic fatigue, I find that a work out takes me out of that sluggish feeling and boosts my energy level, so I hope the same could be true for you! 🙂

Something that has helped me is working on stretching routines first. When I was doing exercise consistently (yeah, gotta get back into it, grrr) that is what I always start with. It’s more doable and very helpful. Plus. stretch routines are a workout! They are really helpful 🙂
