I was reading Psalm 139 this morning in my devotions. I love this psalm. Knowing that God knows who I am and knows me better than I know myself just puts a smile on my face. He formed me. He created me. He loves me.
And he loves you as well! He knows you just as well as He knows me!
Psalm 139:1-2 says “You have searched me, Lord and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.”
He knows what we’re going to say before we even THINK it! I can’t wrap my head around that.
Verse 6, “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.”
I take comfort in knowing that there are just some things I’m not meant to know. At least not this side of heaven. I don’t know how I’d handle knowing certain things. My brain just wouldn’t be able to process it.
God knows what’s best. We need to remember that He has a plan for us. We just need to place our trust in Him.
So I’m still struggling a little bit with the vertigo. I had to leave work early today because I just wasn’t feeling well. I went back to Urgent Care and the doctor gave me a prescription this time for the sinus infection. I had been taking over the counter meds for it but it just wasn’t working.
Oddly, the prescription she gave me the other day for the vertigo doesn’t work half as good as the over the counter meds for dizziness. Go figure. LOL.
OH! So in two weeks I’m headed back to Tennessee to see my dad again! So I definitely need to kick sinus problem before I get on a plane. Because flying with a sinus infection or ear infection is AWFUL! Years ago I flew with a sinus infection and oh my goodness I was miserable. I was in so much pain that I was pretty much rocking back and forth with my hands over my ears. It took TWO DAYS after I got off the plane for my ears to pop.
