Bifocals…already??

So…I had an eye doctor’s appointment today and was lucky enough to find out (well if I’m being honest, I already figured but the doc just confirmed…) that I’m on the cusp of needing bifocals. It was my decision if I wanted to go ahead and order the bifocals because most likely 6 months from now I’ll really be needing them. I was like, “sure, let’s go. let’s do this.” LOL Saves me a trip back to the eye doctor.

I’ve been noticing lately that when I try to read something I’m having to pull my glasses down or up to really see what I’m reading. That there was the first indication.

Oh well.

Honestly, I may fuss about it but it’s not a huge deal. In fact, my mom was my age when SHE went into bifocals so maybe it’s hereditary? Who knows…(well as I wrote this I googled bifocals and apparently 40 is the onset age for needing bifocals.) Well lookie there, I’ll be 40 in June. LOL

The glasses I picked out are super cute though! They’ll be ready in about a week or so.
