I can’t believe it’s already 2018! 2017 just flew by!

Next week I will be heading down to the OBX with my mom to join my sister and her family for a few days of relaxation. We go every year and I always come back feeling refreshed and ready to start the new year! We don’t  necessarily do lots of things during the week. It’s just a time to get away and focus on what really matters: family. Sometimes we play board games. We’ll watch movies. We do go out and do things but it’s a leisure pace. We get ready when we feel like it. One year we went to the Wright Brothers Memorial. That was pretty neat. It was FREEZING COLD but what were we expecting right? It’s January! LOL.

See the source imageSo what is my main goal for 2018? Well, my biggest goal is to lose weight. It’s going to be a challenge because 2 of my medications I take for my fibromyalgia and bipolar disorder cause weight gain. But I just have to have determination to lose the weight. I know I can do it. And I know God will see me through it.

Other goals I have are to spend more time in God’s Word. To read more books. To have a better attitude towards certain people in my life.
