“Live Like That” Sidewalk ProphetsSometimes I think
What will people say of me
When I’m only just a memory
When I’m home where my soul belongsWas I love
When no one else would show up
Was I Jesus to the least of those
Was my worship more than just a songI want to live like that
And give it all I have
So that everything I say and do
Points to You
This song has such a great message. I encourage you to check it out if you haven’t heard it.
I always wonder if I’m living for Jesus the way I should be. The line in the song, “Was my worship more than just a song” really gets to me because sometimes we can get so wrapped up in the emotions that we forget about what really matters.
Am I doing what Jesus has called me to do? Am I living a life pleasing to Him? Does my heart break for what breaks His?
Life has a funny way of sneaking up on us. We fail. Hardships arise. Do people still Jesus in us when these things happen?
I hope people see Jesus in me wherever I go, in whatever I do.
We should always be ready to give an answer to the hope that is in us. π I know I mentioned this verse just the other day but it’s important!
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect
I Peter 3:15

That’s my life verse. Thank you for sharing. The Gospel of John bears the truth of living like Jesus for you see in this Gospel Jesus repeating, “I only do what the Father says.” (My paraphrase.)
